From the moment we arrived, it was obvious our store was very well prepared for us! They had baskets prepared for each chaperone that included hats, pencils, notepads and even nametags! Each station was prepared and awaiting our arrival. I thought the displays and activities at each station were an effective teaching tool. The students were engaged completing the activities in the notepads and the hands-on challenges that took place instead of just listening to someone impart information. It was evident that the curriculum was very well planned and organized from start to finish both in and out of the store.
