Blueberry Lemon Sorbet

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1 cup Weis Quality Granulated Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon zest and fresh berries (optional garnish)
  • 1-2 Tbsp. Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 2 1/2 cups fresh blueberries, thoroughly washed

Instructions

Combine blueberries, sugar, water and lemon juice into a blender or food processor. Blend thoroughly until mixture is smooth. Pour mixture into a metal bowl or freezer-safe container. Cover and freeze for 4-5 hours until firm. Remove from freezer 5-10 minutes to soften before serving. Garnish with lemon zest  and fresh berries if desired.  For best results, enjoy within 3 days.
