- 1 package McCormick Recipe Inspirations- World Flavors Chicken Marsala
- 1/3 cup Weis Quality All-Purpose Flour
- 1 tsp. Weis Quality Iodized Salt
- 1 1/4 lbs. Weis All Natural Boneless and Skinless Chicken Breasts, thinly sliced
- 2 Tbsp. Weis Quality Best Thing Since Butter Spread
- 2 Tbsp. Weis Quality Pure Olive Oil
- 1 (8-ounce) package Weis Quality Sliced Mushrooms
- 1/2 cup Weis Quality Reduced Sodium Chicken Broth
- 3/4 cup Marsala wine
Instructions
Mix flour, minced garlic, marjoram, minced onions, salt and pepper in a shallow dish; reserving 1 Tbsp. of mixture. Coat chicken with the remaining flour mixture . Heat 1 Tbsp. of butter and 2 Tbsp. olive oil in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat. Cook several pieces of chicken for 3 minutes per side or until golden brown. Remove from skillet and keep warm. Repeat with remaining pieces of chicken. Add mushrooms to skillet; cook and stir 5 minutes or until tender. Mix broth and reserved flour mixture. Add to skillet with Marsala wine. Bring to a boil; stirring to release browned bits in bottom of skillet. Stir iin remaining 1 Tbsp. butter spread and basil. Cook 2 minutes or until sauce is slightly thickened. Spoon sauce over chicken to serve. Garnish with parsley.
