Delectable Grilled Nectarines and Peaches

Ingredients

  • Fresh Nectarines and peaces, sliced in half with pits removed
  • Honey, Maple Syrup, or Brown Sugar

Instructions

  1. Brush and wipe the grill clean, and liberally apply cooking spray specially designed for grilling.
  2. Start with a hot grill and then lower the heat only if necessary. This makes for great grill marks and reduces sticking!
  3. Slice nectarines and peaches in half, remove the pit, and place on the grill pulp-side down, turn.
  4. Fruit only takes 3-5 minutes to cook per half inch slice.
  5. Heat the fruit just well enough to soften the texture and bring out the irresistible flavor.
  6. Drizzle honey, maple syrup, or a bit of brown sugar on fruit while grilled to enhance the natural sweetness.
