Ingredients
- 1/2 cup cornmeal
- 1 (22 ounce) Weis Deli Fresh Dough Ball
- 1 cup prepared tomato or pizza sauce
- 1 (8 ounce) package Weis Quality Part-Skim or 2% Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- 1 (6 ounce) pillow-pack Hormel 70% Reduced-fat Turkey Pepperoni
- Optional Toppings: Diced bell peppers, sliced onions, baby spinach and fresh basil
Instructions
Sprinkle a thin layer of corn meal evenly over a [10” x15”] metal jelly-roll style pan or a pizza stone. Stretch dough on countertop to fit the size and shape of pan. Add dough to pan and topwith a thin layer of tomato sauce. Overtop, layer mozzarella cheese, pepperoni and optional, bite-sized fresh vegetables. Bake at 425 ?F for 10-15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and crust is browned. Remove from oven and slide pizza to a cutting board. Slice and serve.
