Find out what teachers, students and parents are saying about Weis Mystery Tours™.
From the moment we arrived, it was obvious our store was very well prepared for us! They had baskets prepared for each chaperone that included hats, pencils, notepads and even nametags! Each station was prepared and awaiting our arrival. I thought the displays and activities at each station were an effective teaching tool. The students were engaged completing the activities in the notepads and the hands-on challenges that took place instead of just listening to someone impart information. It was evident that the curriculum was very well planned and organized from start to finish both in and out of the store.

I could not have wished for a more informative and fun experience for my Cub Scout den. The boys had such a good time, and the tour leaders were the perfect choice. They related to the boys on their level and made the entire experience one that I have highly recommended for other scouts to participate in. It was perfect start to finish.

The tour leaders were EXCEPTIONAL. They made the trip. Their enthusiasm for the tour was very catchy. The students thoroughly enjoyed working with them. I loved the hands on experience they were given, especially filling in the detective booklets.

The girls had a great time. They LOVED the goodie bags, hats and magnifying glasses. The girls all learned a new nutrition fact and got to try kiwi fruit, which most had not tried before and liked it. The women who ran the event were also fun and very good with the girls. The entire trip was great.

We had an awesome time. The kids loved it. Everyone was so helpful and did a great job presenting the tour to my kids. A super great idea to teach kids about healthy choices when eating. Thanks again.

I think the best aspect of the tour was the chance for students to be actively involved. They loved marching to each station and searching the shelves! When they needed to look themselves for what was being discussed, it helped them remember it. It gave them a concrete experience of what could just remain abstract concepts. The students enjoyed the tour very much and were talking about it for a long time! They have now been analyzing their family grocery items when shopping.

This field trip was so well done – our tour guides were EXCELLENT with the students and the rest of the staff at the store was also very kind to us. The tour guides really made the program interactive for the students. The students AND adults loved it!
