Store now has all now décor, expanded variety and a beer-wine cafe

Sunbury and Jersey Shore, PA (May 3, 2018) – Weis Markets today announced it has completed the remodel of its Jersey Shore, PA store and that it would celebrate the store’s Grand Re-Opening with $1,500 in local donations.

“Our Jersey Shore store has received the supermarket equivalent of a complete makeover with all new décor, expanded organic, natural and gluten free variety and a new beer and wine café,” said Dennis Curtin, Weis Markets’ Director of Public Relations.

The store’s beer and wine café opened on April 3. It offers 474 imported and domestic wines including ones from Pennsylvania vineyards, as well as a chilled section. The café also offers 605 varieties of domestic, imported and craft beer including those brewed by New Trail Brewing, which is based in Williamsport.

This is Weis Markets fourth beer-wine café in Lycoming County. It now operates 58 beer-wine cafes in its Pennsylvania stores.

As a result of the remodel, the store has all new interior décor, an expanded selection of organic, natural and gluten free products in grocery, produce and meat and a refurbished exterior.

At the ribbon-cutting, Store Manager Steve Haegele presented donations to: Jersey Shore Athletics Department ($500), New Love Center Food Pantry ($500), Independent Hose Company ($250) and Citizen's Fire House ($250).
