WEIS MARKETS OPENS BEER-WINE CAFÉ IN BURNHAM PA STORE

Store Receives Final PLCB approval to open

SUNBURY, PA (May 1, 2019) -- Weis Markets today announced it has opened a beer-wine café in its store on North Logan Boulevard in Burnham, Pennsylvania. 

The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) gave final approval for the cafe to open on Tuesday morning. The café sells 348 varieties of domestic, imported and craft beer, including a local craft beer section. It also offers more than 632 varieties of imported and domestic wines including ones from Pennsylvania vineyards, as well as a chilled section.

Weis Markets now operates 67 in-store beer-wine cafes in its Pennsylvania.

The cafés sell beer and wine Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. and on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.
