WEIS MARKETS ANNOUNCES PROMOTION OF AMANDA BAUMAN TO DIRECTOR OF MARKETING

Sunbury, PA (December 29, 2022) – Weis Markets (NYSE: WMK) today announced the promotion of Amanda Bauman to Director of Marketing.
Her responsibilities include the oversight of the Company’s loyalty marketing, data analytics, social media and digital marketing programs. Ms. Bauman succeeds Maria Rizzo, who was recently promoted to Vice President of Marketing and Advertising.
Ms. Bauman has worked in various advertising and marketing positions at Weis Markets since 2003. Prior to her promotion, Ms. Bauman served as manager of digital marketing, overseeing the development and launch of online shopping, the upgrade of the Weis app and the enhancement of the Company’s growing e-coupon program.
Ms. Bauman resides in Sunbury, Pennsylvania, with her family.
