WEIS MARKETS BEGINS THE REMODEL OF THREE FREDERICK MD STORES
Projects will be completed in the fall
Sunbury, PA (July 27, 2020) – Weis Markets today announced it has begun the remodel and upgrade of three of its stores in Frederick, MD, located on Old Camptown Road/Rt. 40, Thomas Johnson Drive and Spring Ridge Parkway.
“These projects, which we plan to complete in the fall, will be the supermarket equivalent of a complete makeover,” said Ron Bonacci, Vice President of Advertising and Marketing. “When we are done, our stores will offer more variety, service and convenience.”
Weis Markets Frederick store projects include:
Old Camptown Road/Rt. 40: phase one includes an expanded pharmacy and frozen departments, a new store-within-a-store offering a wide variety of organic and natural products, new self-checkout lanes and all new décor. When phase one is complete, Weis will begin on phase two, construction of a six-pump fuel center adjoining the store.
Thomas Johnson Drive: new décor, upgraded bakery and deli, a new store-within-a-store offering a wide variety of organic and natural products and an expanded pharmacy.
Spring Ridge Parkway: new décor, expanded pharmacy, deli/food service, frozen and dairy departments, and new self-checkout lanes.
