This donation is part of a series of contributions to local organizations throughout the company’s service area
Sunbury, PA (April 22, 2026) – In observance of Earth Day, Weis Markets Charitable Foundation, Inc. announced it has donated $2,500 to the Chesapeake Conservancy. The Foundation is the philanthropic affiliate of Weis Markets, which supports natural resource conservation as a key pillar of the company's sustainability strategy. This aligns with the mission of the Chesapeake Conservancy to help keep the Chesapeake free of waste and safe for wildlife.
The Chesapeake Conservancy is one of four beneficiaries of Weis Markets Charitable Foundation’s annual Earth Day donations, which total $10,000.
