Sunbury, PA (April 22, 2026) – In observance of Earth Day, Weis Markets Charitable Foundation, Inc. announced it has donated $2,500 to Sunbury Revitalization, Inc. to support their Susquehanna River Clean-up. The Foundation is the philanthropic affiliate of Weis Markets, which supports natural resource conservation as a key pillar of the company's sustainability strategy. This aligns with the mission of Sunbury Revitalization’s river clean-up, which removes thousands of pounds of waste along the banks of the Susquehanna River and Lake Augusta.
Sunbury Revitalization’s river clean-up is one of four beneficiaries of Weis Markets Charitable Foundation’s annual Earth Day donations, which total $10,000.
