Store celebrates grand re-opening with donations to local charities
Sunbury, PA (February 10, 2022) – Weis Markets today announced it has completed the remodel and upgrade of its North Queen Street store in Martinsburg, WV.
As a result of the remodel, the store has expanded its deli, seafood, bakery, beer-wine, and center store departments; increased variety throughout the store; added environmentally-friendly LED lighting; and upgraded interior décor and the store’s exterior. Work on the project began in October 2021.
As part of the grand re-opening celebration, the store donated $1,000 each to Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry, IBC Youth Programs and Martinsburg High School Band Program. Weis Markets also donated $15,000 to the Mountaineer Food Bank as part of its Fight Hunger program.
“We’ve freshened up the look of our Martinsburg store, which now offers more convenience, variety, and low prices for our customers” said Ron Bonacci, Vice President of Advertising and Marketing. “A big thanks to our store team and the local community for their support with this project.”
