WEIS MARKETS COMPLETES REMODEL OF MOUNTAIN TOP STORE
Renovations include a beer-wine café, expanded product offerings, updated self-checkout registers
SUNBURY, PA (August 2, 2019) -- Weis Markets today celebrated the completion of renovations at its Mountain Top store on South Mountain Boulevard.
Renovations to the store include the addition of a beer-wine café; new self-checkout registers; and updated décor including new cases in the frozen foods, hot foods and deli departments. In addition, the store has expanded its health, beauty and cosmetics department offerings, and a variety of product offerings throughout the store.
The beer-wine café, which opened last month, now sells more than 600 varieties of imported and domestic wines including ones from Pennsylvania vineyards, as well as a chilled section. The café also offers over 400 varieties of domestic, imported and craft beer, including a local beer section.

The company now operates 71 beer-wine cafes in its Pennsylvania stores.
Weis Markets representatives donated $1,000 to CEO Northeast Regional Food Bank and $500 to Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge to mark the renovation.
