WEIS MARKETS COMPLETES THE REMODEL OF THREE FREDERICK MD STORES
Renovations include updated décor and expanded product selection
Sunbury, PA (October 23, 2020) – Weis Markets today announced it has completed the remodel and upgrade of three of its stores in Frederick, MD.
“These updated stores offer our Frederick customers improved variety, service and convenience,” said Ron Bonacci, Vice President of Advertising and Marketing. “We are proud to enhance our shopping experience and continue to invest in the communities we service.”
Old Camptown Road/Rt. 40: an expanded pharmacy and frozen department, a new store-within-a-store offering a wide variety of organic and natural products, new self-checkout lanes and all new décor. Weis will soon begin on phase two, construction of a six-pump fuel center adjoining the store.
Thomas Johnson Drive: an expanded pharmacy, upgraded bakery and deli, a new store-within-a-store offering a wide variety of organic and natural products and new décor.
Spring Ridge Parkway: expanded pharmacy, deli/food service, frozen and dairy departments, new self-checkout lanes and new décor. During the celebration, Weis Markets representatives presented $500 each to Celebree School, Frederick City Foodbank, Frederick County Animal Control, Governor Thomas High School, Independent Hose Company, Junior Fire Company No. 2, Frederick Rescue Mission, United Steam Fire Co., and Way Station
