Donations were generated through customer and corporate contributions

Sunbury, PA (March 4, 2024) – Weis Markets today announced it has donated $223,500 to seven regional children’s hospitals and pediatric cancer foundations throughout its seven–state market area. Funds were generated through in-store customer donations in December, along with a company contribution.

“Our local children’s hospitals and pediatric cancer foundations play such an important role in improving patients’ lives, and many of our shoppers and community members have been impacted by their heroic work,” said Weis Markets Vice President of Marketing and Advertising Maria Rizzo. “We’re proud to partner with them to support the important work of these organizations.”

  • Children’s National Hospital (Washington, DC)
  • Goryeb Children’s Hospital (Morristown, NJ)
  • Geisinger Janet Weis Children’s Hospital (Danville, PA)
  • Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital (Allentown, PA)
  • Penn State Health Children’s Hospital (Hershey, PA)
  • Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital (Syracuse, NY)
