Donations generated through customer and corporate contributions
Sunbury, PA (March 4, 2025) – Weis Markets donated $30,000 to the Geisinger Janet Weis Children’s Hospital during a check presentation event at its Danville, PA store on February 20. Funds were generated through in-store customer donations in December, along with a company contribution.
"The Geisinger Janet Weis Children’s Hospital is instrumental in saving young lives and aiding local families. We are proud to support their mission to provide quality care to pediatric patients throughout central and northeast Pennsylvania,” said Maria Rizzo, Vice President of Marketing and Advertising at Weis Markets. “We cannot do it alone though, and we are so grateful to our customers and associates for their donations in support of the hospital’s heroic work.”
