Program supports nearly 120 local shelters and rescue organizations during National Pet Month
SUNBURY, PA (May 5, 2023) – Weis Markets today announced the launch of its 15th annual Paws for Pets program, a company-wide donation drive that supports local animal shelters and rescue organizations.
During the month-long program, which ends May 31, customers can round their orders up to the next dollar or give $1, $3 or $5 at self-checkout. They can also give online at WeisMarkets.com/PawsForPets.
In addition, customers purchasing participating pet care items at Weis Markets from one of 25 vendor partners will be entered in drawings to win one of five $150 Weis gift cards each week throughout the month. Each drawing will generate an additional $150 gift card donation to a local animal shelter.
A Weis Markets corporate contribution, matching donations from Rachael Ray Nutrish, Nestlé-Purina PetCare Company, The Clorox Company and Blue Buffalo, and customer donations generated through the program will support nearly 120 animal shelters and rescue organizations in Weis Markets’ seven-state market area.
