WEIS MARKETS OPENS BEER-WINE CAFÉ IN GAP STORE
The store now offers more than 1,050 varieties of wine and beer.
SUNBURY, PA (August 28, 2019) -- Weis Markets today announced it has opened a beer-wine café in its store on Lincoln Highway in Gap, Pennsylvania.
The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) gave final approval for the cafe to open on Tuesday. The café now sells more than 650 varieties of imported and domestic wines including ones from Pennsylvania vineyards, as well as a chilled section. The café also offers over 400 varieties of domestic, imported and craft beer, including local favorites from Lancaster Brewing Company, Stoudts and St. Boniface.
This is Weis Markets’ seventh beer-wine café in Lancaster County. The addition of the café is part of an overall store remodel which will be completed later in the fall.
The cafés sell beer and wine Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. and on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.
