Company celebrates the grand opening of its newest store, which will include a fuel center and a beer-wine café
Sunbury, PA (January 20, 2022) Weis Markets today announced that its new Warminster, PA, store opened to the public on Thursday, January 20, at 7 a.m. The new 63,000 square-foot store, located at 1133 York Road in Warminster, PA, will employ more than 130 new full- and part-time associates.
The new store has an expansive produce department with a wide selection of organic produce, beer cave, wine café, full-service seafood department with lobster tank, full-service meat department with on-premise, custom-cut Certified Angus Beef®, sushi prepared in-store daily, deli offering a wide selection of sliced meats and cheeses along with a heat and serve meal section, organic and natural foods store within a store, in-store bakery, full-service floral department, 17 checkout lanes, fuel center and Weis 2 Go Online ordering with curbside pick-up.
To celebrate the grand opening, Weis Markets donated $50,000 to Philabundance and $2,500 each to Hartsville Fire Company, Warminster Food Bank and Centennial Baseball Club.

The store offers Weis 2 Go Online ordering with curbside pick-up and delivery, through which customers can order online and have their groceries handpicked by trained personal shoppers for pick-up or home delivery. With this offering, customers can use their Weis Preferred Shopper cards to save on their orders and earn rewards on gas and private brand products, and they can also browse the weekly online circular and add sale items to their carts.
The Warminster store was built with several sustainability measures, underscoring the company’s commitment to reducing its carbon footprint chain wide. These eco-friendly features include energy efficient LED lighting to reduce electric lighting; CO2 refrigeration to increase energy efficiency and reduce refrigerant use; cardboard and plastic recycling; and high-efficiency water fixtures.
Warminster customers will also benefit from Weis’ Low, Low Prices program, which launched in 2019 and lowered the prices on more than 7,000 products to offer the lowest every day price in the market. The multi-million-dollar investment in low prices is the company’s most ambitious price reduction program to date.
