Customers generated donations for local schools of their choice through their Weis Rewards Card; this year’s sign ups end 10/31.

Sunbury, PA (October 27), 2023 – Weis Markets today announced it has donated over $530,000 to more than 650 schools as part of its third annual Weis 4 School program. 

Customers signed up to generate donations that support their local schools through their Weis Rewards Card. Schools that generated the most donations during this year’s program include: 

  • Hampstead Elementary School (Hampstead, MD): $15,562
  • Shiloh Middle School (Hampstead, MD): $14,743
  • Jersey Shore Area Elementary School (Jersey Shore, PA): $11,983

“We’re grateful to our customers and local schools for participating in this program, which offers our schools, students and faculty members flexible financial support for where they need it most,” said Weis Markets Director of Public Relations Dennis Curtin. “We take pride in working with our customers to give back to what means the most to them. We look forward to continuing our Weis 4 School program and encourage customers to continue participating to generate donations for their local schools.” 

Weis Markets invites area schools to continue taking part in their 2023 Weis 4 School program, which launched in September. Schools can designate a coordinator to enter information for their school at www.weis4school.com. Once registered, schools can invite their supporters to link their Weis Rewards Cards online at www.weis4school.com. School registrations will close on October 31, 2023.

All schools ranging from pre-k through eighth grade are eligible to participate, including public, private and religious schools and daycare centers. Donation checks will be presented after the program concludes on April 30, 2024.
