Temporary unit located in store’s parking lot
Sunbury, PA (December 20, 2021) – Weis Markets today announced it reopened its Hazleton pharmacy on Saturday in its store parking lot and that it will be open seven days a week while the store, recently damaged in a fire, undergoes repairs.
The pharmacy, which is in a modular unit, is located at 100 Weis Lane.
“We’re pleased to announce we’ve re-opened our full-service pharmacy in a temporary unit in our store parking lot in West Hazleton,” said Rick Seipp, Weis Markets Vice President of Pharmacy. “The staff at this pharmacy will fill new prescriptions, handle refills and offer flu shots and COVID-19 vaccines and boosters. We are grateful to the Pennsylvania Pharmacy Board for its timely review and to West Hazleton Borough for its quick approval of our occupancy permit.”
Pharmacy hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.; Saturday 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.; and Sunday 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
